On Oct.17, Lv Yongkang, Vice President of TYUT, presented the guest professor certificate of TYUT to Professor Michael Barlow from the University of Auckland (UA).

Dr. Michael Barlow is a professor of linguistics at the UA, and an internationally renowned expert in applied linguistics and corpus linguistics. His academic expertise includes the study of cognitive characterization of language through the analysis of text databases and the development of text analysis software. As the founder of the Asia-Pacific Corpus Linguistics Association, he also serves as an editorial board member of international journals such as International Journal of Corpus Linguistics, Studies in Corpus Linguistics and the English Language Research Journal.
